Dr. Raybould completed her undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York City.  She then went on to medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.  She completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Georgetown.  During her post graduate training, she received teaching awards, The Hope Award for excellence in patient care, and was inducted into the AOA Honors Medical Society.

After fellowship, she joined the faculty at VCU in 2016 and is currently an assistant professor of medicine.  She has been the program director for the Infectious Diseases fellowship since March 1, 2020.  She previously served as the associate program director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship from 2016 through March 1, 2020.  Her primary interests include atypical bacterial infections, HIV, and medical education. 

Dr. Raybould lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, son, and golden retriever.  She enjoys traveling, running, soccer, and time spent with family.
