Welcome from the Program Director
Welcome to the Virginia Commonwealth University Geriatric Medicine Fellowship training program. Our fellowship program offers a robust and diverse 12 month clinical experience in Geriatric Medicine across the continuum of care. Our division has seen dramatic growth in the last 5-10 years, supporting now approximately 20 faculty physician members plus numerous APP providers between the VCU Campus and the Veteran's Administration Hospital Campus. We truly feel we can provide an individualized experience for each of our fellows as they pursue ongoing education in Geriatric Medicine. As noted in the introduction for the fellowship program there are many unique opportunities here at VCU Geriatrics. Whether your interests are in national policy change, administrative roles, or geriatric education training, we have experiences that will enhance your fellowship year!
