Dr. Brittany Craven after finishing internal medicine residency at EVMS went on to complete her geriatric fellowship at VCU. She stayed on as faculty in 2017, primarily working as a clinician seeing patients in the primary care geriatric clinic as well as on the inpatient geriatric consultative service. Dr. Craven also served as CAHM Clinic medical director from 2018-2023. In 2022 she took over the role of geriatric medicine fellowship program director to continue inspiring and educating future geriatricians. Her personal interests are spreading an appreciation and thoughtfulness to the care of older adults amongst learners. She has received institutional recognition in her teaching and local honor as a “Top Doc” in Richmond, VA. Dr. Craven also has a strong passion for movement disorders, particularly Parkinson’s and its mimickers. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outside with her family, running, reading, and exploring new areas.
