Welcome to DoIM!
Richmond, also known as “RVA,” is a vibrant and welcoming city. Whether you’re already familiar with RVA or joining us from afar, we're thrilled to have you here.
At the VCU Department of Internal Medicine (DoIM), our Human Resources team has developed a comprehensive onboarding process to help both faculty and staff get started smoothly. Your division’s chief and colleagues will likely pair you with a friendly sponsor—whether faculty or staff—to assist you in settling in. If you haven’t been paired with a sponsor yet, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
With over 600 faculty members and a dedicated team of staff professionals, we are eager to help you connect with others in the DoIM community. To complement our formal onboarding process, we’ve assembled a variety of resources designed to help you and your family feel at home in RVA.
Welcome again—we look forward to supporting you on your journey here!
