Becky Miller graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Internal Medicine residency training program in 2015 and completed a year as chief medical resident in 2016. Subsequently, she joined the faculty in the VCU Department of Internal Medicine as an academic hospitalist and an associate program director for the residency program. As an academic hospitalist, she works with residents on the inpatient medicine teams, the medicine consult service, and the procedure service. She participates in research oriented to improving inpatient care of general medical conditions, including diabetes. As an associate program director, she oversees curriculum development for the training program. She is particularly interested in incorporating the training of resilience into the formal curriculum and serves as the faculty mentor for the residency program Wellness Committee.
Outside of work, Dr. Miller enjoys training for half marathons, exploring the Richmond restaurant scene, and traveling, and spending time with family.
