Sarah Hartigan, M.D.
Associate Chair for Quality and Safety
Dr. Hartigan is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, and has been the Director of Quality Improvement for the Department of Internal Medicine since July 2012.
Dr. Hartigan received her Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of Richmond, and her Medical Degree at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Hartigan completed residency training in Internal Medicine at VCU, and was a Chief Medical Resident at VCU as well. She currently serves as the Assistant Medical Director for Performance Improvement at MCV Hospitals and as a Hospitalist, and is a graduate of the InterMountain Healthcare Quality & Research program.
